Purpose
The purpose of this module is to enhance learners' ability to practice active listening by developing skills in focused attention, empathetic engagement, and effective response, enabling stronger communication, collaboration, and relationship building in both professional and personal settings.
Problem:
In many environments, it’s common to listen while distracted or multitasking, which can lead to missed details and misunderstandings. These breakdowns in communication often result in avoidable mistakes, rework, or even conflict. At times, it may be a struggle to pick up on verbal and nonverbal cues, which makes it harder to build trust and meaningful connections. Improving active listening skills through best practices can reduce communication breakdown.
Complexity:
Transforming a PowerPoint presentation into an engaging eLearning mini-module, including interactive content, learner-friendly formats that promote retention, adaptability, and ease of understanding across diverse audiences.
Process:
Instructional Design Document
The instructional design document outlines the structure, content, and delivery method of the learning course.

Solution:
An interactive eLearning self-paced approach to improve active listening skills that address challenges by fostering clearer communication, stronger relationships, and creating a more collaborative environment.
